Paul Ingels

Paul Ingels is the founder and president of Paul Ingels & Associates, Inc. Investigator Ingels is a licensed California Private Investigator and has been so licensed since 1986. He is also a licensed California Private Patrol Operator. Investigator Ingels is a retired Pomona Police Detective and his combined experience as a police and private investigator is over 56,000 hours.

Investigator Ingels has been featured in a CBS special on 48 Hours, and his exceptional work on several high profile cases has been reported by the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register and other newspapers as well. Please refer to the “Articles” section for further.

As a Police Officer, Investigator Ingels conducted numerous investigations in homicide, narcotics, vice, robbery, burglary, and sex crimes, as well as author and execute numerous search warrants. As an undercover narcotics and vice officer, Investigator Ingels made numerous purchases of illicit narcotics and made numerous arrests for various vice related offenses. He has testified numerous times as an expert in the field of narcotics in the municipal court, superior court and federal court. Investigator Ingels was a member of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (S.W.A.T.) and participated in the arrest of over 1,500 felons and 2,500 misdemeanor arrests. He was a member of the Police Associations Board of Directors for three years, including 1982 when he served as President. During his tenure as a police officer, Investigator Ingels received numerous awards and commendations:

  • Outstanding Service Award, United States Department of Justice, 1984.
  • Letter of Commendation, California Department of Justice, 1983.
  • Letter of Commendation for Outstanding Service, John K. Van DeKamp, Attorney General, State of California, 1981.
  • Twenty-five additional letters of commendation and appreciation from the Pomona Police Department, La Verne Police Department, Ontario Police Department, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and others.

Prior to commencing his police career, Investigator Ingels volunteered into the United States Air Force. He possessed the highest security clearance in the country, Top Secret with Special Security and Investigative Research (S.S.I.R.) and Crypto Access. During his tenure, Mr. Ingels had the honor of working with the White House Communications Agency (W.H.C.A.), which provides secure communications for the President of the United States.

Investigator Ingels has lectured in many forums and many topics including narcotics Investigations, vice operations, homicide, heroin, cocaine and PCP influence, phencyclidine labs, as well as careers in law enforcement and private Investigations.

Investigator Ingels is a member in good standing with the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI) and the Professional Investigators of California (PICA) In his spare time investigator Ingels enjoys golf, travel and interestingly, he is a certified NFL Agent.

 

Chris Nicely

Investigator Nicely is hard charging investigator with over 3,500 hours of experience. He is our resident covert surveillance (sub-rosa) expert with over 800 hours of covert surveillance concerning civil litigation. Also known as a tenacious process server who can literally serve anyone, and is an accomplished interviewer as well.

Investigator Nicely is a former police officer with the city of Santa Ana and Fontana. In that capacity, he was assigned to patrol, as a K-9 handler and a SWAT team member. Investigator Nicely received the Inland Empire Robbery/Homicide Award for the identification and apprehension of multiple armed robbery suspects and was twice decorated by the California Highway Patrol for Auto Theft Recovery excellence.

In his spare time, investigator Nicely enjoys playing organized soccer, camping and reading.

 

Dennis Cabana

Investigator Cabana has extraordinary experience as a private investigator dating back to 1996. His specialty is public records and has searched public records in all 50 states. He is known for finding public records that other investigators couldn’t. Investigator Cabana’s ability to prepare a clear and concise report from a litany of public records is unquestionably the absolute best in the business.

Investigator Cabana has extensive experience in product liability cases, as well as genealogy. He collected, organized, and analyzed a vast array of disparate data from numerous public documents. The emphasis was to develop civil and criminal litigation history, then interview key witnesses.

Investigator Cabana enjoys playing baseball and reading in his spare time.

 

Lisa Mendoza

Investigator Mendoza has a background in real estate and is known for her ability regarding asset investigations. Known for her outgoing personality, she has also quickly earned the reputation as an excellent interviewer.

Investigator Mendoza previously owned an operated a small business which honed her skills as self starter. She also possesses excellent skills with Internet research and computers.

In her spare time investigator Mendoza enjoys horseback riding and travel.
